The 2024 Oxford Semiconductor Conference brought together 75 experts from government, industry, and academia for a closed-door, invitation-only forum at the University of Oxford. Spanning three days, the conference featured panels, roundtables, and keynote addresses led by senior officials from the U.S., UK, and Taiwan, including three former Ministers of State. Discussions focused on critical semiconductor and AI policy issues such as export controls, industrial strategy, and emerging defense applications. Hosted in partnership with the Rothermere American Institute and National Taiwan University, the conference fostered cross-sector collaboration and strengthened transatlantic ties at the intersection of technology and policy.
